I quite like Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단). I think the music is good, the members are cool and the aesthetic is on point. This is for school, I don't know what I'm doing.
So anyway, Bangtan Sonyeondan, also known as BTS, are a K-Pop group based in South Korea (no shit). There's seven members, with three in the Maknae Line (young bois). Unlike other groups, BTS isn't seperated into units, though there are distinct rappers, vocalists and dancers.
BTS's fanbase is commonly referred to as ARMY. ARMYs are separated again into K-ARMYs, or the Korean ARMYs, and I-ARMYs, which are international. Poor ol' Australian ARMYs tend to get left behind. Such are world tours, aye.
Here's a guide to the members:
Kim Namjoon is the main rapper and leader of BTS. As the only member fluent in English, Namjoon is often translating during interviews with English speaking interviwers. Namjoon is middle in age and is thought of as a noodle because of his height. He is the proud dad of the group and is actually the god of destruction because he breaks everything.
Kim Seokjin is a vocalist and the official visual of BTS. Seokjin is the mum of the group, and the oldest. Seokjin is known as "Mr Worldwide Handsome" and his shtick is shrieking and eating.
Min Yoongi is a rapper in BTS. Yoongi is the grandpa of the group and is often left to fix everything Namjoon breaks. Yoongi sleeps anywhere and everywhere and the other members are lowkey scared of him. Yoongi is the second oldest.
Jung Hoseok is a rapper and main dancer in BTS. Hoseok is the third oldest and is a happy ball of energy, but he will smack the shit out of the other members if they step out of line. Hoseok is easily spooked and the other memebers are lowkey sick of his shit.
Park Jimin is a vocalist and dancer in BTS. Jimin is the squishy lil mochi of the group and is known as the member with abs. He has a baby face and baby voice and is often picked on the other members for being short. Park Jimin is the third youngest and part of the Maknae Line.
Kim Taehyung is a vocalist in BTS. Taehyung is the second youngest and part of the Maknae Line. Taehyung is the dumb blonde of the group and of the group and has a voice deeper than the Pacific Ocean I swear. Taehyung can't dance outside of the choreography the group is given, at all. Taehyung has a forehead to rival the gods but always keeps it covered with his hair or headbands.
Jeon Jungkook is the lead vocalist and a dancer in BTS. Jungkook is the youngest of the group and is often babied by the older members. He's a cheeky shit but has a black belt in Taekwondo so the other members won't hurt him, though he's still terrifed of Yoongi.
